2018

Happy New Years Eve! There are moments in our lives that cause us to make a decision, and every decision leads us where we are meant to be.

"A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor."

We always wish for an easy year, but those years do not make us stronger. We were brought to this very moment by all the choices we've made. Always take those hardships as blessings in disguise. Hope for the best, expect the worse, and in the midst of it all, have faith and believe that we will overcome anything thrown our way.

Each year gets placed in our archives, and suddenly they become memories and stories. Learn from them. Grow from them. Remember what we've accomplished.

2018 has brought me love, happiness, adventure, hardships, and life lessons.

2018 recap:

I fell in love with the right person for me.

I took my first trip with KJ to Austin, Wilmington to watch his cousin get married, and then down to Charleston.

I met a group of girls, and we constantly encourage and support each other with our dreams and goals.

I stayed consistent with pilates, which has become my favorite workout.

I traveled to San Diego with KJ.

My one year anniversary of blogging was in September, and I was proud of how far I had come.

I walked in the Route 91 Charity Fashion Show with the Vegas Golden Knights.

I chopped my hair off.

I volunteered at the Autism Gala Silent Auction at the T-Mobile Arena.

I decided to train to become a pilates instructor - and have loved every minute of it.

I have been very in tune with God and His signs for me.

I have partnered with some amazing brands, and have been invited to fun events.

KJ and I shared our first holidays together.

+ many laughs, growth, and lessons learned.

Goals for 2019:

Don't take things too personally.

Read more books.

Laugh more.

Live more.

Stay happy.

Now take your glass, and lets cheers together to another year of growing, learning, and evolving into our placement of where we are meant to be.

Have a safe and happy new year!
